Graftonbury 2010

Graftonbury this year was on Sunday 30th May and what a day we had. We raised just under £2700 for our charities which is fantastic....thank you everyone. xx

If you had arrived at The Golden Cross at midday on the 31st May, you would NEVER EVER have known that during the previous 12 hours the pub had been the venue for THE MOST AWESOME FANTASTIC STUPENDOUS AND WONDERFUL day. The place was clean and tidy and the marquee had disappeared.

A huge thank you to all the singers and bands below who played for us.

We had the most fantastic day. a massive thank you to everyone for coming along to support us. We will be letting you all know what we took for the day as soon as we have all the monies in.

This year will be donating to the Bidford Boys Football Club and we will be also buying an Elephant Pump in South Africa. We have bought 2 pumps over the last couple of years through Stagfest and it seems only right that The Golden Cross also gets the privilege to donate a well pump for a village in S Africa. We all take for granted water yet these villaged have NONE and have to travel for hours every day for water just to survive..
