The Original Golden Cross Faggots are Back!! People used to travel many miles for the Original Golden Cross Faggots, we have secured the original recipe and are now proud to bring them back to the menu (the only thing missing are the dolly to watch you eat them for those of you who remember!!)
New menu will be available begining of March with old favourites and some new creations by our talented Chefs. All produce is as locally sourced and seasonal as possible.
The very exciting new photo displayis up in the bar!!. Local Photographers Mary and Garath Pritchard have lived in the Shire all their lives. Over the years they have taken some amazing photos of the local area and wildlife. We are very fortunate to be able to display them at The Cross and will be doing a Grand Opening for you all to attend with a Pimm’s reception and a chance for you to order some of their pictures for yourself.
Keep an eye out for our new SLIMMERS menu lanched in January. A selection of low fat and carb free dishes ideal to help you keep to at least one of those new year resolutions! there are also fat free desserts!!
Replacing the SET MENU in Jan and Feb will be our TASTERS MENU for those who just want a smaller meal or three courses but can't normally fit them all in. Main courses are just £7.95.

Cheltenham Week: Celebrating the glorious sport of Horse Racing: Monday 12th March Irish Day at Stratford Races if you would like to join us for a Day out at Stratford please meet at The Cross at 12pm all welcome.
We will be open all week to show the racing
Lady's Day on Wednesday 14th - if you come in in a hat we will give you a free medium glass of house wine
St Patrick's Thursday 15th come in wearing Green and get a Free pint or glass of wine. Live music from Tex (from the texan Peacocks) Lynsay and John to help celebrate your winnings.
Gold Cup Friday 16th Glass of bubbly £2.50 all night !
And to finish the week off we will be celebrating St Patricks Day on Saturday 17th with guiness £2.50 all day and Live Music in the evening
